According to both the Carbon Trust and the CBI, some 35% of the energy spend in Western Europe is used to heat buildings, and over 30% of this energy is wasted. Load Compensation applies a level of logic which assesses the rate of temperature loss of the system water being returned to heating boilers, and adjusts the thermostat differential to compensate for the load or demand on the system.

Because the LC controls operate in 'real time', they are able to work with unusual demand periods and so do not have the inherent limitations of 'predictive' technologies.
